Anyone ever lived or been to Rhode Island?

Planning on going up to Providence, Rhode Island next month. I'm expecting it to be cold/freezing (for a native Miamian) so I kind of have some idea what to wear up there. But I want to know if anyone has clue about the Rhode Island fashion scene? All I've been told is that they're pretty conservative up there. Not that I really care so much what others may think of what I wear up there but geez the last time I went to Tennessee dressed like the fabulously chic city girl that I am- people just looked at me as if I were from some other planet. How they can't grasp stilletto boots and wool coats is beyond me- didn't think I was dressed like anything out of this world but w/e. LoL...

My girls out there... if you have any 2 cents to lend me it would be appreciated.

Yea I wouldn't fall into that hoochie clique lol... plus no cleavage to show hhaaahahaha... Thanks though Jill, I appreciate it!
