I would also like to know about any good sushi spots in Downtown or Brickell. I haven't really found any that I can say that I love.

My two favorite sushi spots are on the beach. Bond Street (in the basement of the Shore Club Hotel) and the sushi bar in the Delano Hotel are both amazing. Bond street is a little more private and intimate. The Delano has more of a "loungy" atmosphere and you can always expect to meet some interesting friends.

Check them out... You won't be disappointed!
Thanks! I checked out Red Koi (Miracle Mile), it was really good!
Red Koi is actually pretty good. I heard they were opening a Sushi Siam at The Plaza in Brickell... If it's already open, it's supposed to be another good one..

I also checked out Doraku on Lincoln Rd. It's near the movie theatre. It is really good and had a great intimate atmosphere!
Doraku also has a killer happy hour every day from 5-8. Seriously good Tuna Takaki for only $6!! And some choice cocktails for $4.

I forgot about Abokado in Mary Brickell Village. Had dinner there the other day and it was pretty good. They have some pretty creative rolls and dishes. The dessert was also amazing. Stop by and check it out.
Jill yyou are right Obba is really good and they deliver. Abokado is also a really nice place with a trendy feel.
My favorite is Shoji on Collins between 1st and 2nd.
One of my fav places is Sakura because of its delicious specialty menu... its on US1 and just a bit south of 42nd ave... there's a starbucks across the street from it... can't go wrong!
If you want trendy, one of the trendiest places is Sushi Samba on Lincoln Rd. For good sushi at reasonable prices and free parking try Yoko's on Alton and 8th (or 7th, I can't remember exactly). It's pretty genuine Japanese fare, not like those fast-sushi places. The atmosphere is very relaxed, and the bill will be very affordable.
Ra sushi is very good and if you go during happy hour, its the bomb. Half off appetizers, drinks specials and some roll half off as well.
