MIAMI -- The stage is set in downtown Miami for Sen. Barack Obama's rally this afternoon.

Thousands of people are expected to attend the event at Bicentennial Park, where the senator and his wife, Michelle, will hold an "Early Vote for Change" rally.

Gates for the rally open at 3:45 p.m. The event begins at 5:45 p.m.

A Miami Heat pre-season game is also scheduled for tonight at the American Airlines Arena.

If you're heading to the rally, plan to get there early to avoid traffic delays.

Well....we can view it from your building and have the audio on TV.....LOL. I wasn't planning on it. I know some people from my job will be heading over after work.
Did anyone make it out there? It looked packed from up here... A few friends from the building walked over there but it was already at max capacity and they couldn't get in.
Nah. But here's a little clip of Obama speaking.
