I like it alot. I rented in west tower about 2 and a half years ago and then bought a 3 in the east tower and moved in there after a year. The building has changed quite a bit, but it seems like they've worked out most of the kinks so far regarding security/valet etc... I walk to work which is really nice and some new places open up is a big help. No complaints overall. I've heard about some landlord issues for renters, but that's going to be the case anytime your landlord is a new owner.

I like it, but so many things have gone wrong with my landlord that it is putting a damper on how I view the building. I just wish I would've received some kind of resident information packet or something letting me know policies and procedures of things. I love the location (just a few blocks from work so I can walk!) and the people seem to become more friendly with time.

Alex. I like One Miami's location. As a Realtor, I need easy access to the main expressways. I95 is a few blocks away from One Miami. You can take Biscayne Blvd South and be in the Grove within minutes or you can take Biscayne Blvd North and get to Miami Beach very quickly. I am not very impressed with the gym, especially when you compare to other newer buildings. I will reserve my comments on Valet Parking and its services. In the positive side, awesome views, great location, walking distances to lots of places, restaurants, shoppings, Metromover, etc.

My wife and I love it. Still lots of construction with build-outs. I hear it is more than 60% closed, so it looks like the building will make it financially.
Very little storage in the floor plans so you have to buy furniture accordingly (pantry and linen closet space).
I would buy there again if I was still in the market.

Alex, have you come to a conclusion based on your research? When are you looking to make a move?

Hi! The few months that I've been at One Miami have been great. I just wish there was a BBQ area and that people didn't think they were on a race track when they are really in the parking garage.

I love it, so far it has been a great luxurious experience. The only thing is I wish they would put more bars and restaurants around Midtown.

Check the video I posted from the 4th. That's just one of the reasons why you may want to consider 50 Biscayne. :)

It basically isn't any different than most other buildings. The parking will almost always be a problem in any miami condominium. One example would be The Loft I and II which have no parking garage within there building. Also, keep in mind that the $100 monthly cost is for a second vehicle.

Hi Alex, I've noticed you asking a lot of the members about where they live. Are there some particular characteristics you are looking for in your next home? What is most important to you? View, location, price, amenities, etc?

I have to agree with Mike P message below. However, there is one big feature most other newer buildings do not have. The building is new and waterfront at an affordable price.

I like living there but mostly because of the convenience. I think there are nicer buildings in the area. There are a lot of young people, noise is sometimes a problem (the acoustics are horrible) but for now its ok. At least the building is pretty full so maintenance is not a problem.

The views are one of the best in Miami... parking does suck after they opened up the restaurant and they even charge an extra $100 for your extra valet parking now.

I like 50 Biscayne a lot more and plan to move there soon.
