Good morning Alex... a friend of mine and I have a business idea that can complement your site, is it possible that we can arrange a meeting with you? please let me know.
Hi Alex, I am looking for someone who is looking for a roommate, please let me know if you know of anyone out there who is looking for someone to share rent with.
Thank you
Sergio.
Hey, Alex--
I'm a writer/resident from a bit uptown (Edgewater) who joined MUL a few months ago, when I was writing a piece about Mia for DiningOut magazine.
Now I'm writing a cover piece for the Biscayne Times (February issue, so deadline coming up fast) on Downtown Miami's revival, over the past 18 months or so. All the stuff you send out invites to-- the dodgeball games, the Riverwalk Fest, etc.-- not to mention the website itself are things that say Downtown is indeed, finally, a real community of people who live there and are majorly involved in the area.
Can I interview you?
A phone interview would be okay, though it'd be probably better to do it in person, somewhere in downtown. Maybe at the party at Ecco after Friday's game? Or at the Downtown Athletic Club before the game? Or I could come down any time this week that'd be convenient for you (except Thursday afternoon, because I'm going to something at Area 31 and then interviewing a few folks-- but Thursday morning, or evening/night, would be fine).
I don't need tons of time. About a half-hour would be ideal.
Btw: I'd also like to speak with a few other Downtown residents-- like Maria Elena, who was doing the blanket drive for street people last week, especially. Do you know her, and how I could get in touch?
It'd be really useful, too, to briefly speak with a few people who moved downtown because residential pricing finally came down to rational, inviting levels. Do you know anybody like that?
My phone number is 305-573-4403. And my email address is pamiami1@bellsouth.net.
Thanks! And I'm looking forward to meeting you.
