About me:
Lobo Jack Production’s Day-Ja La Dama, born Stephanie Campos in Nicaragua, October 6, 1979. 8 months later, Day-Ja’s mother left her behind to move to the United States, leaving her father to raise her. By 1980, Day-Ja was living in Miami, FL. At 8 years of age, she fell in love with the entertainment industry through one of the most influential people in her life, her father. Frequently, her father would bring music from Miami to Nicaragua to his Lobo Jack Night Club. Thanks to the sounds of Queen Latifah, Lisa “Left Eye” Lopez, Madonna, George Michael, at age 12 she began acting in talent shows and plays. By age 15, Day-Ja began writing lyrics and started reading on current events, the Bible, and poetry to further develop her craft. By age 18, the transcending from Stephanie to Day-Ja La Dama began. Day-Ja understands that life throws trials and tribulations at us everyday. She writes her music to bring up the hearts of the people through up beat music that gets people excited about life’s rewards when you work hard. Day-Ja La Dama is making her mark in Miami by performing all over Miami spreading positive vibes. From performing on air with 98.3 La Kalle to one of South Florida’s largest venues Café Iguana, Day-Ja La Dama remembers the struggles of life from a young age and uses her lyrics and beats to shake the stress away for herself and those around her. Founder and co-producer of Lobo Jack Productions, Day-Ja constantly seeks and listens to new music and upcoming artist. She respects and supports artists who are true to the form of Hip-Hop and R&B. Her lyrical sound and production show an understanding of how to connect with the people in today’s society. In appreciation of others’ music, Day-Ja La Dama is producing a mix-tape with international DJ’s and MC’s. It’s set to release Spring of ’09. Influences such as 50 cent, Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, Rick Ross, Gwen Stefani, Gloria Estefan, Bob Marley, Cold Play, Diddy, Busta Rhymes contribute to the Day-Ja’s development as the people’s MC. Day-Ja’s message goes from romance, to the hustle on the streets, to motherless childhood, over to the political issues our world is facing today. There is no question in time of play, her lyrical rhymes get people moving. In times of challenges, she encourages others to reflect on living positively. Her influences and knowledge of music show how her style reaches many from east to west globally. Day-Ja La Dama, the people’s dama is dedicated to being that constructive influence through sound for the people, as many greats before her. CONTACT INFO: *Bookings: ladyadmix@yahoo.com
