Rumor- 3 AM Cutoff for City of Miami Nightspots...
I heard from a little bird that they are planning a 3 AM cutoff time for all nightspots in the City of Miami, coming soon, thanks to Commissioner Mark Sarnoff.
Could you imagine Mia, Bardot, Electric Pickle, Vagabond or Space being closed at 3 AM?! How would this effect our city social dynamic? I don't like the sound of this...
According to my little bird, they haven't formally proposed the notion yet but it's definitely a question in the works. Again, thank you Commissioner Mark Sarnoff .

It is complete absurd to do this. People come down here for the night-life Miami provides. Tourists do not come here only for the beach, they come to party hard. Proven by the Super Bowl. "Hay que ponerle un tapon a esto immediately"

That would suck!! Downtown Miami is know worldwide for late nights and crazy after hours. Thats like making people wear shirts at the beach. What the hell?!

Actually you are putting the Blame on the wrong person. The commissioner only wanted to shut down coconut grove to 3AM cut off since Drunk Drivers have struck and killed kids in the area but the owner of Mr. .Moes went to a City hall meeting and complained that Coconut Grove is not the only Nightlife area in the Commissioners District so if he wants to shut down the grove he should consider the rest of his district. Therefore you shouldn’t blame the commissioner you should blame the owner of Mr. Moes for possibly ruining the rest of our night life.
