FOUND terrificly GOOD middle eastern food at HAKAN 1040 Alton road

just north of Whole Foods store..

Had walked past the non descript location many times and at the urging of friends who had ventured inside a few months ago finally joined them about 6 weeks ago : was won over by the wonderfully prepared middle eastern dishes served in quite generous portions! humus babaganoush tahini etc..and have been back almost weekly since initial foray..

the big surprise though was the fish: having seen more than enough so called grouper snapper or whatever many restaurants call the shark meat served as such was delighted to sink my teeth into a juicy large salmon filet-yum..

spoke with hakan -the owner -who told me that he visits several fish supliers early each day and only serves the freshest catch available
thank you hakan for making available a high quality meal at a reasonable price..and if you arrive friday or saturday after 9 pm you will find belly dancers,,
