Widely thought of as “America’s Weatherman,” Bryan Norcross served for many years as television meteorologist and hurricane specialist for WFOR-TV (Miami’s CBS owned-and-operated television station) and the chief hurricane analyst for CBS News in New York. In June 2008, Norcross left WFOR in order to devote more time to America's Emergency Network, a private company he formed with Max Mayfield, former director of the National Hurricane Center.
