Celebrating women from all walks of life B Side Entertainment presents “To Her With Love”, A Women’s Month Celebration and Spoken Word Experience in honor of Lorrie “Elle” Tennant. Arguably the best Spoken Word venue in S. Florida and the undisputed longest running spoken word venue, The Bohemia Room has plenty in store for March. “TO HER WITH HER LOVE” featuring Tony Award Winning Def Poet Georgia Me and BETJ’s Lyric Café Poet Naima Jon Wednesday March 18th at 8pm inside Miami Improv Comedy Club - 3390 Mary Street, Coconut Grove. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door.
B Side entertainment has garnered a reputation for introducing & qualifying the best poets that come to Miami. Following suit, South Florida native, Naima J. Known for her unforgettable performance on BETJ’s Lyric Café will set the microphone ablaze igniting listeners with her fiery delivery and inspirational lyrics. Other locals favorites will also hit the stage including Anomaly, Sherie Vaughns and Thalia. Rounding out the evening, Georgia Me will storm the Miami Improv Comedy Club stage displaying her performance talent that earned her a Tony award and most recently a role in Tyler Perry’s new blockbuster, “Madea Goes To Jail”. South Florida cannot get enough of Georgia Me, her down-to-earth personality and raw content insure a night to remember.
Lastly, Own Your Power Communications, Kechi This Inc and Art of Exotic Dance, staunch supporters of uplifting and empowering women, will be collecting donations for Women in Distress. Proceeds from the door will be donated and we encourage female patrons to go through their closets and let go of one outfit. Please bring items in store/gift bag

The Bohemia Room is a monthly poetry event held at the world famous Miami Improv Comedy Club. Producer and host Ingrid B infuses elements of comedy, music, and of course poetry into this event providing a new experience every time. The Bohemia Room is known for segments like CUNNILINGUISTICS Erotic Poetry Night, It’s A Mans World all male poetry revue and feature showcases.
