Event Description

The 3rd Annual Celebrate ORGULLO Hispanic LGBT Pride Festival continues to grow, shine & impress.  This year the festival moves to its new location - Collins & 73rd Street - at the North Shore Band shell and adjacent streets - steps from the sands of Miami Beach and the Atlantic Ocean!  There is plenty of parking, shade trees and rest areas, local cafes & businesses… along with an incredible assortment of food & merchandise vendors, live music & entertainers, dancing & people watching, continuous DJ performances on the main stage and beachside cabana, carnival games & contests, community workshops and many new surprises for this October 5th.  As always, Celebrate ORGULLO is FREE and open to the public, from noon on, and this year we will be partying ‘till 8pm.

Adding to the already incredible schedule is ORGULLO Headliner and Emmy & Grammy award winning artist ALBITA. This Cuban born singer, producer and composer will be performing with her musicians on the ORGULLO main stage. Other amazing artists scheduled to perform include recording artist JAYQUAN, pop recording artist & Mr. 305 label artist MADAI, recording artist & composer DIANA CASTILLA, Int’l. Recording artist JEI, Dominican Diva SHELINA and Latin singing sensation REY RANDAL.  They will be joined onstage by DJ REDDY, radio personality ENRIQUE SANTOS, female illusionists SASHA, SHANAYA BRIGHT & ADORA, and many more surprises.

WHAT: Hispanic LGBT Pride Festival

WHEN: Saturday, October 5, 2013, noon-8pm, Free & open to the public

WHERE: 73rd Street & Collins Avenue, Miami Beach

WHY:  Because the Hispanic LGBT community has much to be proud of, lots of great talent to share, and the world is a better place when we can all just get along.

“We are thrilled to have such an incredible lineup of talent this year. The move to North Beach gives Celebrate ORGULLO its own unique signature, amazing vendors, community workshops, more room and better access for our friends across South Florida…and ALBITA – wow! An Emmy Grammy award winning artist – what more can we ask for. Also, this year we are partnering with the Anita Priest Whispering Angels Foundation to offer an LGBT Youth Scholarship as well, so a lot of good is going on for our community. Looking forward to seeing everyone at ORGULLO on October 5th at Collins & 73rd Street in Miami Beach” – said Herb Sosa, event organizer
