Who's your neighbor?

I like to know what the parking or valet polices at your condo's. I live at Latidue on the river and the valet service is charging $10.00 for visitors on weekends upto $20.00 per day. Are they charging like that at other condo's?

Hi Armando,

Here at 50 Biscayne they charge visitors $5 during the day and $15 if you stay over night. For my unit I am entitled to one reserved parking space in the garage and one complimentary valet. The cars have to be registered in the system.

I heard One Miami upped their prices and even charge as much as $50 for a lost ticket, but someone who lives there can probably confirm this?

My guests have to pay $5.00 as well and $15.00 over night. Pretty ridiculous. Now Tutu Pasta's owner is opening up a restaurant downstairs. Guess people who want to eat there will have to pay the valet as well.
Davina,

Does maintenance in Brickell Key tend to be higher? Someone suggested having pre-paid parking coupons we can use for our guests. I think that would be a great idea. I don't like the fact that my guests always have to pay to come see me. It started out free (just tips) at 50 Biscayne, but then they added the fees.

I guess the money has to either come from the association/owners or from the guests themselves.
I LIVE AT THE LOFT 2 AND THEY JUST COMPLETELY DID AWAY WITH THE VALET SERVICE. BEFORE WE USED TO HAVE THE VALET EXCLUSIVELY TO RESIDENTS. NOW I HEAR THAT MANY OF THE BOARD DIRECTORS OF DOWNTOWN BUILDINGS ARE PETITIONING TO GET RESIDENTIAL PARKING AREAS SUCH AS THOSE ON MIAMI BEACH. I THINK IT WOULD BE GREAT.
It is still free at the 1800 Club. But I heard that there are only 29 Valet spots and there is a fight for them. I am sure, there will be hefty charge to valet park in 1800 and Quantum soon.
They do at One Miami. It is $50 if you lose/don't validate your valet ticket at the front desk when you arrive. I forget the exact cost per hour, but when my best friend visited for the weekend it was $30 for 2 nights (but we thought they charged her wrongly so who knows).
I am at 2Midtown and they charge $5 all day and $10.00 after 11pm.
One Broadway charge $ 6 visitors and $ 12 overnight, If you'll park in the meters you better pay or you'll get a ticket, evil ticketeros are around all the time (thanks to Segafredo)
