Miami's 1450 Brickell office tower (www.1450brickell.com) features the nation's most wind-resistant curtain wall facade, capable of withstanding 325+ mph winds. Lab testing exposed the curtain wall system to extreme elements, including high winds, dramatic changes in air pressure, water, and the direct impact of a 9' Southern Pine 2x4 traveling at 50 feet per second.
