SOFITEL MIAMI HOSTS A SPECIAL EVENT: “SERENDIPITY OF THE SENSES”  SAY “I DO” MIAMI-STYLE

With South Florida being a major wedding destination, the Sofitel Miami will open its doors on Friday, July 20, 2012 and host an event showcase.  The event titled “Serendipity of the Senses” will feature an array of respected event and wedding professionals, and the latest and greatest options as it relates to “that special date”. Taking place from 6:00PM-9:00PM the event will be positioned as more of an event than a typical “bridal expo.”

Sofitel Miami is recognized by many Miamians as a place that holds “special” memories. Aside from its nostalgic value, the property today is a tropical paradise tastefully decorated in Art Deco style, overlooking a peaceful blue lagoon. With a fascinating contemporary French ambiance, Sofitel is conveniently located just minutes away from Miami International Airport, the port of Miami, South Beach and shopping at Dolphin Mall. The French luxury hotel is known amongst wedding professionals as an option for that bride seeking a true luxury experience near the Miami airport. For those wanted to get a taste of what to serve on their wedding day, come with a ready palate as the Sofitel culinary team will have on site samples of some of their most delicious delicacies. For those wanting to meet and discuss ideas, options and trends, some of the city’s most sought after vendors and specialists in areas to include: floral, photography, videography, cake designers, cupcake vendors, bridal boutiques, rentals, linens, invitations, entertainment, makeup and hair and more will also be onsite.

Grooms will not be forgotten at this fabulous affair. The “Men’s Lounge” will feature the most high-end guayabera brand Ramon Puig in the market offering ideas for that perfect “Guayabera wedding. ” Puig staff will also offer choices for other wedding events to include photos and rehearsals. For those wanting to include cigars when they say “I do”, Toraño Family Cigar Company will be on hand offering some samples that can be customized (via brands) and perfectly paired with Diplomatico Rum that will also be on site.

The event will feature a grand raffle boasting some big ticket items and one couple will have the chance to win $10,000 towards their “Dream Wedding” at the Sofitel Miami. Submissions to qualify for the “Dream Wedding” must be entered on www.wishinguponawedding.org. Winner will be chosen by Wish Upon a Wedding and announced on the day of the show (those who enter must be present to win.
