Midtown, IMHO, has great potential. It is centrally located to all the hotspots of Miami but away from it enough so as not to be overwhelmed by it all.
If this area can attract some lounges, coffee shops, restaurants or bars. Then I think this neighborhood could come alive. I have heard rumors of several projects coming to this area but i am not seeing any proof yet. I've heard about a movie theater, sushi samba, Segafredo, fancy gym and lounge. If some of those projects get developed then Midtown could be on its way.
Until then it is just a decent place to live. -
