Who's your neighbor?

I just moved this week and I am looking forward to enjoying all the amenities 50 Biscayne has to offer and the main reason why I chose it as my home.

I am disappointed to hear that the hours for the pool, gym and club house are being curtailed. I thought that is what downtown was all about "nightlife" and fun. Most people work all day and only get to enjoy the benefits late at night. I sincerely hope they reconsider this and exten the hours.

I was in late Friday evening, and it looked like a ghost town in the building. Everything was closed and the pool and club were closed. This is an issue that should truly be reconsidered specially before spring gets here and we can stay out by the pool more with the daylight savings time.

I totally agree with this. You should attend the next association meeting to express your concerns. I'm not exactly sure why they cut the hours, but I suspect it is either due to noise complaints or cost savings (reduced security/staff).

The noise complaints really annoy me. If you move to a condo right smack in the middle of Downtown, you can't expect to get peace and quiet. Move to a retirement home if that's what you're looking for. You can hear music from the park and Bayside day and night either way.
When is the next association meeting? Do the tenants get advised ahead of time? I was under the impression only the owners could attend. Thanks for your advise. I will most definately try to attend once I know the date and time.

Your neighbor,

Nancy
