Who's your neighbor?

Hi everyone,

Would anyone be interested in extending the hours from 10pm to perhaps 11 or 12pm? I work at the airport later during the day and normally come back at 9pm. Having the pool/gym closed at 10pm just makes it impossible to use....I know, I know, I could use them in the early morning, but i'm not a morning person...........and besides swimming at night is just beautiful...

I understand extending the hours at the gym would result in higher costs (wages since its staffed), but there shouldn't be any issue whatsoever with the pool or the sauna. I guess others might be in same boat...so, do we have a chance to at least have the pool and sauna close later....?

Regards,

Bruno.

Why shouldn't you have 24 hour access to the amenities at the place you live? You do pay for that anyway, so you should be able to use it freely unless there is some kind of law or city guideline that restricts you from doing so.

Have you asked the association why they set those hours?
I'm all for it! Our amenities should actually be available 24 hours, but I'll settle for extended hours.
I don't think it has to do with any city regulations....different condos have different policies. I used to live at Metropolis by Dadeland and the gym and sauna were 24 hrs. The pool in theory was restricted by no one would make deal if you were just relaxing by the spa without making any noise...

I would guess it has something to do with preventing noise and other things....however, I live on the 20th, facing the pool, and couldn't hear a thing when we had the Lola MIA event on July 4th.

I any case, this is quite stupid, we have 24 hours security who can routinely pass by the pool and check any "mis-behaviours." I'll see what management says.

Rgds,

Bruno.

I would agree. Our amenities should be open 24/7.
Agree 100&. Don't mean to be a bummer but good luck trying to get the inept office we're unfortunately forced to call our Association to work with you. Unless it's in an agreement, the gym should not have to be staffed during all hours of operation (ie it should be able to have hours of 6am-12am, staffed 9-10) I'll take it up with the Association as well.

Anyway, the suana/ steam rooms close? I'm new & just got my FOB & haven't had a chance to get denied late night.. that's ridiculous.
I spoke with the guys in the office about a month ago. As usual they were extremely gentle and customer-service oriented. According to them it would require a change in the bylaws of the association.......

Go figure, I can't understand how is it acceptable to have someone with the music so loud at the pool that forces everyone to hear their music, but can't swim or exercise at night, which doesn't affect anyone.

PS: what's up with the continental group? This is the fourth place I live in that they manage the place. A common thing among all of them is the extreme rudeness and bad attituted.
So is it true they are locking the pool deck at night?
