Event Description

TOBACCO ROAD ANNOUNCES NEW LOCATION AND CRAWFISH BOIL & SEAFOOD CELEBRATION

It’s Back!  The legendary Tobacco Road, which closed its doors last October has inked a deal to reopen this coming Winter.  Long-time manager, Joel Rivera, who has worked at the Road since his teens, secured a deal with the former owners to take possession of the Tobacco Road name and its assets.

To celebrate, Rivera and his team will be hosting the 15th Annual Crawfish Festival at the new location on Sunday, April 19, 2015.  With thousands of pounds of crawfish, live music, specialty cocktails and thousands of Tobacco Road fans and neighbors will be able to tour the “under construction” new venue and even dine on their ‘bugs’ at tables inside!

"There’s a lot of magic to Tobacco Road!,” said Rivera.  “Thankfully we were able to salvage the historic neon sign, hundreds of artifacts and even the extinct Dade County Pine, which we’ll use in the location.  Tobacco Road was too good to let it die – I plan to ensure the legend lives on!”
